One of the obvious facts about this website is that it deals primarily in Utah. What our efforts at UtahLuxury.com are for is to help people learn a bit more about what it is like to live in Utah. I myself used to believe that Utah was this region that looked a bit like a scene from Napoleon Dynamite. I never thought that this place could yield so many amazing and wonderful things.

One place that many outsiders know about is Park City. Park City is an amazing little historic area where skiing, fine arts and entertainment meet. Many people from all over the world come to Park City for two reasons, one is for skiing and the other is for the Sundance Film Festival. Luckily, both of those needs can be met at the same time as the Film festival is always is the winter. One place that I think more people should know about as they visit the Sundance Film Festival is Sundance itself. While in Utah for a few days, make sure to stop in for a night at the Tree Room. The Ambience of Park City and Sundance can be fun, romantic and restful. For a really nice getaway, try a few nights at the Stein Erickson Lodge in Deer Valley.

Another widely known place is that of Salt Lake City. I have lived in big cities like Los Angeles, Lisbon, New York and I love the city. Salt Lake is nice place to visit for many reasons. If you are a history buff, there are many places to visit that showcase how the early settlers found there way across the rocky mountains and into the Salt Lake Valley. If you just want to go shopping, there are places like the gateway, which is an 800,000+ square foot outdoor mall. Soon there will also be the rebuild of downtowns shopping district which is a massive rebuild currently underway. If dining is what you are looking for, try world class Takashi, Market Street Grill, or La Caille.

There are also a few really nice places to stay while in Utah. In Salt Lake you can try the world-class Grand America. In Park City there are several places to stay. A stay in Park City is more about what you are doing while in Park City to help determine where you should stay. As we had mentioned before the Stein Erickson lodge is especially nice and has an amazing sunday brunch. A few miles down the road is the Zermatt in the quiet and beautiful city of Midway.

There is always the amazing southern tip of Utah as well. That amazing place to escape to called St. George. The nice thing about St. George is that you will find lots of golf, relaxation and sun. One thing that should not be missed is a trip up Zions Canyon. A trip to St. George can be lots of fun with activities such as hiking and golfing or relaxing and spending time together.
