a Vida Buena is a 7,000 square foot home designed for family, entertaining and retreat. This splendid home has an owner with a growing family. They were in need of a home that functioned well and had all the modern conveniences. With amenities like a top-of-the-line kitchen complete with custom walnut cabinets and unique design elements such as a luxurious pool with steamers, the owners were sure to be pleased.

To start your journey, you enter this home through a private courtyard. The courtyard has a little water feature that echoes peacefully off the entrance walls. You may also enter into the casita from out here, making it private and enjoyable for your guests. As you enter the large entry doors to the house, you are welcomed to the entry foyer which looks on to the great room. Once in the great room, your eyes cannot help but stare out to the red cliff scenery. You start to believe that you could very easily find your self living here. Even though it is hard to look away from the scenery, your eyes venture back inside and marvel at the kitchen. Custom pendants hang over a rounded semi-circular kitchen island. The kitchen is designed in a way to afford those working in it the same views as from the great room.

Starting with the casita, as you wander around you might stop to ask yourself, "Is this the Master?". The casita is beautiful enough to make for a master bedroom on its own. There is a cutout archway in the wall designed to set your bed back just a tad. Although the casita is very welcoming, wait till you see the rest of the house.

Not cool enough? Take a dip in the custom pool that is complete with 3 custom waterfalls and a multi-speed swim jet.

Back inside, the real master bedroom is a luxury to see. The walls are a hand plaster finish with earthy accents. A tray ceiling over head is tiered and colored with a faux finish. There are custom wood blinds to shield the room from the bright desert sun, making this room both comfortable and romantic. This master bedroom has one other thing that just completely wows you... the master closet. This master closet is so big that it could be a bedroom itself. No need to say this closet will only fit her stuff anymore. Way to go design team on making this master bedroom a real retreat!

The basement is a great getaway for just simply relaxing. With views looking out to the custom pool and fun filled rooms down here, I might just spend most of my time down here. To start, as you enter the basement, you come down to the family media and entertainment room. It may be a media room but it isn't the theater. No thats right, this home has its own theater as well. This way you can decide whether to be swept away in your own private screening or hang out with everybody and play pool while catching the game. Watch out though, the home theater has a snack bar with a figurine of my grandma trying to sell you some nummys.

There are three more bedrooms down here for your kids and teenagers. There is also an exercise room and a toy room. This way you stay physically fit by working out... and not by having to put away all those kids toys.

Outside there is an upper deck off the kitchen and family room that shades the basement patio area. There are steamers hanging from the deck above to cool you off in the desert heat. Not cool enough? Take a dip in the custom pool that is complete with 3 custom waterfalls and a multi-speed swim jet. What really amazes you is the steamers on the pool. This makes it look like it is cool outside and that pool is welcoming and boiling hot.

This family home is filled with fun and entertainment, all the while maintaining a standard of luxury and opulent touches.
