wners Don and Ailene Chambers had a vision of building a Frank Lloyd Wright style home. Many years ago, the couple started designing the home that would be featured in this years parade. The home was to keep a high standard and stay true to Frank Lloyd Wrights "Prairie Style". It would also blend Modern Contemporary and Craftsman style. Don Chambers would have called the home "Just Wright". Don passed away before the magnificent home could be seen in the parade of homes.

n the way to Zions National Park, you reach a small community of old western style rustic homes. This beautiful community is designed for desert living enthusiast that wants to be close to all the wonders of Zions.

racken set the stage this year with one of the most glorious and glamorous homes in the parade. This home was called the "Hermosa Vista Verde", which means the "Beautiful Green View". Once you enter the great room it is no surprise why it is called that. The view is simply amazing. A 42 foot long curved glass wall lets you peer out, as if to forever and ever. Looking through the glass, you see an infinity pool rising above and reflecting the luxurious Sand Hollow Golf Course and the spectacular red cliffs setting. If we are talking Zen, this home has the ultimate in peace of mind.

he Southern Utah Parade is never one to disappoint. Every year the builders show their magic and build a feast for the eyes. I had high expectations even in this down economy and was not let down. Here is how our tour went.
